The Chilean equestrian, Virginia Yarur, has once again achieved a notable performance in the United States, by obtaining second place in the FEI Intermediate I
CDIAm test that took place this weekend in Miami.
Riding Debussy, the national rider scored 66.886% and reached the second place on the podium of the Adequan Global Dressage Festival, a prestigious event that
brings together the best horse-and-rider pairs from around the world.
“This year my focus has been to get Debussy into the arena, which is a very sensitive and fearful horse that needs many pistes to get used to the movement of an
international competition. And I’m very pleased with the results obtained, because I’ve been able to concretize in competition the work we’ve been doing with my
team,” Yarur declared.
It’s worth noting that just a week ago, Yarur achieved fourth place in the Prix Saint George test at the same festival with a score of 64.123%.
The national rider will continue training and competing in North America to elevate her level for the qualification to the World Equestrian Games, which will
take place in the United States in 2018.
